The the last week of November Take A Stitch Tuesday used the Arrow or Arrowhead Stitch. A relaxing stitch to do.
The fourth week of November Crazy Quilt Journal Project used the Arrowhead stitch which I really enjoyed doing. To complete this week I added a tatted autumn leaf made with Lizbeth thread.
This completes my Crazy Quilt Block for November! Only one more month to go……….Yeah!
The stitch for the last week in October for Take A Stitch Tuesday week 44 had two names. Closed base needlewoven picot or Needlewoven picot leaf.
It was a neat stitch. I enjoyed the weaving. With a 5th Tuesday in October I added my week’s stitch to last weeks stitch.
To complete my October Crazy Quilt Journal Project Block I added the TAST Needlewoven picot leaf stitch and also a tatted Kokopelli to go along with the
Southwest theme of this block. This was a fun Block!
The stitch for Take A Stitch Tuesday week 38 was Drizzle Stitch. I didn’t like the way the stitch stuck up when I made it so tacked the end down and than felt better about the result.
The third quarter of my September Crazy Quilt Journal Project block used the Drizzle Stitch. I tacked the stitch down at the end so it would fit better on my block. I also added green tatted leaves to my block.
This first week of September was a catchup week for Take A Stitch Tuesday week 36. I decided to repeat the French Knot Stitch.
For the first quarter of my September Crazy Quilt Journal ProjectI used French Knot Stitch in several colors and also added a tatted flower.
The stitch for Take A Stitch Tuesday http://pintangle.com/tast-faq/ was Sheaf Stitch. This was a fun stitch. It is the horizontal stitch below.
I used the Sheaf Stitch on the curved fan edge of my 4th quarter of my Crazy Quilt Journal Project block for August.
I tatted a smaller flower to complete My Crazy Quilt Journal Project block for August. Eight blocks completed!
